A top price for Teresita Fernández - as previously expected
The work Liquid Flame by Teresita Fernández was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in March this year. The price achieved of USD 8,890.00 (€ 8,176.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Liquid Flame is the most expensive artwork by Teresita Fernández that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Liquid Flame von Teresita Fernández wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.890,00 (€ 8.176,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Liquid Flame das teuerste Kunstwerk von Teresita Fernández, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
