Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Terence Donovan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2015. In the Made In Britain auction, the work Sean Connery, 1962 sold for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 7,258.40) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Terence Donovan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Jimi Hendrix, London, 1967 sold at auction in March 2020 with the realized price of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,292.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Terence Donovan erzielte im März 2015 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made In Britain wurde die Arbeit Sean Connery, 1962 für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 7.258,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Terence Donovan; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Jimi Hendrix, London, 1967 im März 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.292,05).
