Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Julie Christie Ii, 1962 by Terence Donovan was sold in the Made In Britain auction at Sothebys in London in March 2015. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,802.02) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Terence Donovan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jimi Hendrix, London, 1967, which sold at auction in March 2020 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,292.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Julie Christie Ii, 1962 von Terence Donovan wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion Made In Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.802,02) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Terence Donovan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jimi Hendrix, London, 1967 beobachtet, die im März 2020 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.292,05) versteigert wurde.
