Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Joyful Rain by Tchan Fou-Li was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. It changed hands for a price of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,653.90) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 28,000.00 – 38,000.00. Other works by Tchan Fou-Li have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2012 the work Des Voeux Road West was auctioned for HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,728.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Joyful Rain von Tchan Fou-Li kam im April 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.653,90) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 28.000,00 – 38.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Tchan Fou-Li konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2012 die Arbeit Des Voeux Road West für HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.728,74) versteigert.
