A top price for Tchan Fou-Li
The work Des Voeux Road West by Tchan Fou-Li was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,728.74), 36% above the upper estimate. With this result, Des Voeux Road West is even the most expensive work of art by Tchan Fou-Li that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Des Voeux Road West von Tchan Fou-Li wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.728,74) und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Des Voeux Road West sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Tchan Fou-Li, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
