The work Women in a Landscape by Tay Bak Koi was sold in the Contemporary Art Asia: Hong Kong Edition auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 35,000.00 (€ 3,823.91), 40% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tay Bak Koi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Golden Harmony in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 71,143.20).

Die Arbeit Women in a Landscape von Tay Bak Koi wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: Hong Kong Edition bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 3.823,91) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tay Bak Koi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Golden Harmony im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 71.143,20).
