It achieved a price of USD 32,500.00 (€ 23,302.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guglielmo Sansoni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Avvitamento, which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 43,812.00 (€ 50,818.78).

Die Arbeit Multiple portrait of Marinetti von Guglielmo Sansoni kam im Oktober 2011 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 23.302,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Für andere Arbeiten von Guglielmo Sansoni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Avvitamento beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für GBP 43.812,00 (€ 50.818,78) versteigert wurde.
