Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mounted For Framing; by Tao Yiqing was auctioned at China Guardian in October 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 22,000.00 – 42,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 26,400.00 (€ 2,936.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tao Yiqing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Countryside Landscape in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,825.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mounted For Framing; von Tao Yiqing kam im Oktober 2021 bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 22.000,00 – 42.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 26.400,00 (€ 2.936,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tao Yiqing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Countryside Landscape im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 43.825,38).
