Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Tao Yiqing was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October last year. The price achieved of HKD 42,000.00 (€ 5,382.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tao Yiqing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Countryside Landscape in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,825.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Tao Yiqing wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 5.382,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tao Yiqing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Countryside Landscape im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 43.825,38).
