Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscape by Tao Yiqing was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October this year. It achieved a price of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 6,094.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Tao Yiqing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Countryside Landscape in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,825.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Tao Yiqing wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 50.400,00 (€ 6.094,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tao Yiqing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Countryside Landscape im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 43.825,38).
