Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Tao Yiqing. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 24,000.00 (€ 24,508.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Tao Yiqing have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2020 the work Countryside Landscape was auctioned for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,825.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Tao Yiqing zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 24.000,00 (€ 24.508,70) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Tao Yiqing konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2020 die Arbeit Countryside Landscape für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 43.825,38) versteigert.
