Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Tao Yiqing was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 106,200.00 (€ 11,958.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 90,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tao Yiqing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Countryside Landscape, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,825.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Tao Yiqing kam im Oktober 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 106.200,00 (€ 11.958,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 90.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tao Yiqing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Countryside Landscape beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 43.825,38) versteigert wurde.
