In October 2017 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Tao Yiqing. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 200,600.00 (€ 22,078.40), 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tao Yiqing; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Countryside Landscape sold at auction in July 2020 with the realized price of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,825.38).

Im Oktober 2017 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Tao Yiqing zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 200.600,00 (€ 22.078,40) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Tao Yiqing; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Countryside Landscape im Juli 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 43.825,38).
