Fine Chinese Paintings Formerly in the Collection of Mingzhai 南洋明齋舊藏古代及近現代中國書畫 Lots 101-118 楊作明（1925-1984），廣東潮州澄海人，後移居馬來西亞從商。雖是僑胞身份，卻對中國書畫十分著迷，自行鑽研書畫收藏。約六十年代末期，經由楊之光先生推薦而個別造訪北京榮寶齋、天津藝苑及上海畫苑等地，收購許多該地區著名書畫家之作。因南洋地區專業裝裱行當較不風行，楊先生還曾特地在香港逗留多時，就教於裝池能手，返家後自行裱畫，其專注與投入，絕非一般收藏家可與比肩。 今年春拍，邦瀚斯首次推出「南洋明齋舊藏古代及近現代中國書畫」專題，反響熱烈。本次網拍，將再有部分書畫釋出，包括羅銘、任博悟、曾后希等名家，大部分作品具「作明」上款，為市場所罕見。

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plum Blossoms, 1970; Rose and Insect, 1967 by Tao Shoubo was sold in the Chinese Paintings-The Online sale auction at Bonhams in September this year. The price achieved of HKD 3,840.00 (€ 463.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tao Shoubo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cabbage and Mushrooms in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,108.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plum Blossoms, 1970; Rose and Insect, 1967 von Tao Shoubo wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Chinese Paintings-The Online sale bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.840,00 (€ 463,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tao Shoubo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cabbage and Mushrooms im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.108,63).
