Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Plum Blossoms by Tao Shoubo was auctioned at POLY in October last year. It achieved a price of HKD 6,000.00 (€ 768.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Tao Shoubo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cabbage and Mushrooms in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,108.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Plum Blossoms von Tao Shoubo kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei POLY zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 6.000,00 (€ 768,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tao Shoubo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cabbage and Mushrooms im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.108,63).
