Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Sketches of Plum Blossoms by Tao Lengyue. The price achieved of HKD 630,000.00 (€ 70,078.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tao Lengyue have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Peonies Of Prosperity in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 3,640,000.00 (€ 338,543.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sketches of Plum Blossoms von Tao Lengyue zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 630.000,00 (€ 70.078,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tao Lengyue auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Peonies Of Prosperity im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.640.000,00 (€ 338.543,62).
