Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Moonlight by Tao Lengyue. It changed hands for a price of HKD 144,000.00 (€ 18,452.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tao Lengyue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peonies Of Prosperity in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 3,640,000.00 (€ 338,543.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Moonlight von Tao Lengyue zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 144.000,00 (€ 18.452,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tao Lengyue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peonies Of Prosperity im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.640.000,00 (€ 338.543,62).
