Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tao Lengyue achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Mountain Recluse Amidst Clouds sold for HKD 84,000.00 (€ 10,158.21) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tao Lengyue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peonies Of Prosperity in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 3,640,000.00 (€ 338,543.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tao Lengyue erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Mountain Recluse Amidst Clouds für HKD 84.000,00 (€ 10.158,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tao Lengyue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peonies Of Prosperity im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.640.000,00 (€ 338.543,62).
