The work Landscapes Of Sichuan by Tao Lengyue was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 85,723.89), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tao Lengyue - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Peonies Of Prosperity, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 3,640,000.00 (€ 338,543.62).

Die Arbeit Landscapes Of Sichuan von Tao Lengyue wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 85.723,89) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Tao Lengyue mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Peonies Of Prosperity beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 3.640.000,00 (€ 338.543,62) versteigert wurde.
