This price was achieved in the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy at Sothebys in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Tao Lengyue have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Peonies Of Prosperity in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 3,640,000.00 (€ 338,543.62).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tao Lengyue auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Peonies Of Prosperity im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.640.000,00 (€ 338.543,62).
