This artwork by Tania Marmolejo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in March this year. In the New Now auction, the work Dreams of Escape sold for USD 88,900.00 (€ 81,769.68) - well above the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tania Marmolejo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Surprise Conclusion in April this year with an auction result of HKD 456,000.00 (€ 465,665.22).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Tania Marmolejo erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Dreams of Escape für USD 88.900,00 (€ 81.769,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tania Marmolejo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Surprise Conclusion im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 456.000,00 (€ 465.665,22).
