A top price for Tania Marmolejo
This artwork by Tania Marmolejo achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work A Surprise Conclusion sold for HKD 456,000.00 (€ 465,665.22) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. This high result makes A Surprise Conclusion the most expensive artwork by Tania Marmolejo that we have observed at auctions so far.
