Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2014 Phillips in New York held the auction Latin America, which included the work El peso de la culpa by Tania Bruguera. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,039.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tania Bruguera have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Destierro (Displacement) in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,903.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2014 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Latin America durch, in der auch die Arbeit El peso de la culpa von Tania Bruguera zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.039,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tania Bruguera auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Destierro (Displacement) im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.903,95).
