This artwork by Tang Zheming achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Waterfall Of Mount Tiantai sold for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 41,181.17) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tang Zheming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn Landscape After Du Fu'S Poem, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 133,128.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tang Zheming erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Waterfall Of Mount Tiantai für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 41.181,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tang Zheming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn Landscape After Du Fu'S Poem beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 133.128,80) versteigert wurde.
