A top price for Tang Zheming
When the work Autumn Landscape After Du Fu'S Poem by Tang Zheming was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 300,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than four times as high at HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 133,128.80). This high result makes Autumn Landscape After Du Fu'S Poem the most expensive artwork by Tang Zheming that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Tang Zheming
Als die Arbeit Autumn Landscape After Du Fu'S Poem von Tang Zheming im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – HKD 300.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 133.128,80) mehr als viermal so hoch.
