Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tang Zheming achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Advent of the Phoenix sold for HKD 252,000.00 (€ 28,031.51) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tang Zheming have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autumn Landscape After Du Fu'S Poem in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 133,128.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tang Zheming erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Advent of the Phoenix für HKD 252.000,00 (€ 28.031,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tang Zheming auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Autumn Landscape After Du Fu'S Poem im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 133.128,80).
