Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tang Zheming achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscapes sold for HKD 475,000.00 (€ 54,068.83) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tang Zheming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn Landscape After Du Fu'S Poem, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 133,128.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tang Zheming erzielte im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscapes für HKD 475.000,00 (€ 54.068,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tang Zheming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn Landscape After Du Fu'S Poem beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 133.128,80) versteigert wurde.
