Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Living With Poetic Quality by Tang Zheming was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings I - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2014. The price achieved of HKD 368,000.00 (€ 34,226.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tang Zheming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn Landscape After Du Fu'S Poem, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 133,128.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Living With Poetic Quality von Tang Zheming wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings I - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 368.000,00 (€ 34.226,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tang Zheming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn Landscape After Du Fu'S Poem beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 133.128,80) versteigert wurde.
