The work Couplet by Tan Yankai was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 25,960.00 (€ 3,000.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tan Yankai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 1,625,000.00 (€ 184,972.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Couplet von Tan Yankai kam im Mai 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 25.960,00 (€ 3.000,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tan Yankai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.625.000,00 (€ 184.972,32).
