The work Calligraphy by Tan Yankai was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 63,250.00 (€ 7,309.85), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tan Yankai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 1,625,000.00 (€ 184,972.32).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Tan Yankai wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 63.250,00 (€ 7.309,85) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tan Yankai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.625.000,00 (€ 184.972,32).
