The work The Gate Keepers by Tan Oe Pang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,694.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. Admittedly, works by Tan Oe Pang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mother and Child in April 2015 with an auction result of CNY 437,500.00 (€ 63,183.12).

Die Arbeit The Gate Keepers von Tan Oe Pang kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.694,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tan Oe Pang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mother and Child im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 437.500,00 (€ 63.183,12).
