The work Highway in Hougang, Singapore by Tan Oe Pang was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 118,750.00 (€ 12,370.59), 32% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Tan Oe Pang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mother and Child in April 2015 with an auction result of CNY 437,500.00 (€ 63,183.12).

Die Arbeit Highway in Hougang, Singapore von Tan Oe Pang wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 12.370,59) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tan Oe Pang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mother and Child im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 437.500,00 (€ 63.183,12).
