The work An Afternoon Delight by Tan Oe Pang was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,154.03), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Tan Oe Pang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mother and Child in April 2015 with an auction result of CNY 437,500.00 (€ 63,183.12).

Die Arbeit An Afternoon Delight von Tan Oe Pang wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.154,03) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tan Oe Pang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mother and Child im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 437.500,00 (€ 63.183,12).
