A top price for Tammam Azzam - as previously expected
The work Untitled (From The Stores Series) by Tammam Azzam was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in March 2016. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,949.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled (From The Stores Series) is the most expensive artwork by Tammam Azzam that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Untitled (From The Stores Series) von Tammam Azzam wurde im März 2016 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.949,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Untitled (From The Stores Series) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Tammam Azzam, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
