It achieved a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,220.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Admittedly, works by Tammam Azzam have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (From The Stores Series) in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,949.08).

Die Arbeit Conscript von Tammam Azzam wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab,Iranian and Turkish Art Part II bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.220,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tammam Azzam auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (From The Stores Series) im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.949,08).
