Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab,Iranian and Turkish Art Part II, which included the work Freedom Flags by Tammam Azzam. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,792.85) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Tammam Azzam have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2016 the work Untitled (From The Stores Series) was auctioned for USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,949.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab,Iranian and Turkish Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Freedom Flags von Tammam Azzam zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.792,85) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Tammam Azzam konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2016 die Arbeit Untitled (From The Stores Series) für USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.949,08) versteigert.
