The auction ended at the price of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 34,968.76), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Takamatsu Jiro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shadow No. 199 in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 206,500.00 (€ 288,841.92).

Die Arbeit Oneness of Iron, no. 357 von Takamatsu Jiro kam im Oktober 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 34.968,76) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Takamatsu Jiro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shadow No. 199 im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 206.500,00 (€ 288.841,92).
