Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Norfolk - Tree by Tai-Shan Schierenberg was worth GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,820.95) to a buyer in September 2019. This price was achieved in the auction Made in Britain at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 800.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tai-Shan Schierenberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Balthasar in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 34,375.00 (€ 38,170.51).

Die Arbeit Norfolk - Tree von Tai-Shan Schierenberg war einem Käufer im September 2019 GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.820,95) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tai-Shan Schierenberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue Balthasar im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.375,00 (€ 38.170,51).
