The work Johnny and Lucy by Tai-Shan Schierenberg was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July this year. It achieved a price of GBP 8,704.00 (€ 10,154.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 74%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tai-Shan Schierenberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blue Balthasar, which sold at auction in October 2020 for GBP 34,375.00 (€ 38,170.51).

Die Arbeit Johnny and Lucy von Tai-Shan Schierenberg kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.704,00 (€ 10.154,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 74%. Für andere Arbeiten von Tai-Shan Schierenberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blue Balthasar beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für GBP 34.375,00 (€ 38.170,51) versteigert wurde.
