Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Polish abstract by Tadeusz Kantor for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,479.89). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tadeusz Kantor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Emballages, objets, personnages n. 5 in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 247,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Polish abstract von Tadeusz Kantor für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.479,89) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tadeusz Kantor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Emballages, objets, personnages n. 5 im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 247.500,00.
