The work Avebury Cameo, 2007 by Tacita Dean was sold in the Photographies - Collection Claude Berri auction at Christies in Paris in November 2016. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,250.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tacita Dean achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wake in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 133,250.00 (€ 165,673.00).

Die Arbeit Avebury Cameo, 2007 von Tacita Dean wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Photographies - Collection Claude Berri bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.250,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tacita Dean erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wake im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 133.250,00 (€ 165.673,00).
