Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Subway Train by T-Kid 170 for USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,525.35). This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by T-Kid 170 - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Flo, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,902.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Subway Train von T-Kid 170 für USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.525,35) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von T-Kid 170 mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Flo beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.902,12) versteigert wurde.
