In December 2000 Christies in Los Angeles held the auction MODERN, POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY PRINTS, which included the work View of Schumnemunk Mountain by Sylvia Plimack Mangold. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,880.00 (€ 2,002.56), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sylvia Plimack Mangold achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Floor With Light At 10:30 Am in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 101,461.04).

Im Dezember 2000 führte Christies in Los Angeles die Auktion MODERN, POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY PRINTS durch, in der auch die Arbeit View of Schumnemunk Mountain von Sylvia Plimack Mangold zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.880,00 (€ 2.002,56) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sylvia Plimack Mangold erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Floor With Light At 10:30 Am im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 101.461,04).
