Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Hawk by Sven Berlin was sold in the The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street auction at Sothebys in London in February 2019. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,832.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sven Berlin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Teenagers in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,598.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Hawk von Sven Berlin wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.832,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sven Berlin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Teenagers im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.598,03).
