Sold at the lower estimate price
In March 2015 Christies in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Construction Drawing; and Houses into Construction by Sven Berlin. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,382.55) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sven Berlin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Teenagers in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,598.03).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im März 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Construction Drawing; and Houses into Construction von Sven Berlin zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.382,55) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sven Berlin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Teenagers im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.598,03).
