Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Self-Portrait by Sven Berlin for GBP 280.50 (€ 313.34). This price was achieved in the auction Modern British and Irish Art at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sven Berlin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Teenagers in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,598.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Self-Portrait von Sven Berlin für GBP 280,50 (€ 313,34) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sven Berlin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Teenagers im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.598,03).
