Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2001 Christies in London held the auction 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART, which included the work Springtime by Sven Berlin. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 352.50 (€ 568.79), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sven Berlin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Teenagers in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,598.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Springtime von Sven Berlin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 352,50 (€ 568,79) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sven Berlin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Teenagers im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.598,03).
