Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Suzanne Valadon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in March this year. In the Pictures and Prints Online auction, the work Catherine prepare le tub; Catherine Accroupie 2 sold for GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,160.45) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Suzanne Valadon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nu à la draperie in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 475,000.00 (€ 420,838.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Suzanne Valadon erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pictures and Prints Online wurde die Arbeit Catherine prepare le tub; Catherine Accroupie 2 für GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.160,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Suzanne Valadon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nu à la draperie im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 475.000,00 (€ 420.838,13).
