Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Zigong Series: Salt Factory Workers No.2 by Sun Mingjing for HKD 21,250.00 (€ 2,080.14). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Chinese Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Sun Mingjing have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2012 by the work Zigong Series: Salt Factory Workers No. 1 at HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,235.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Zigong Series: Salt Factory Workers No.2 von Sun Mingjing für HKD 21.250,00 (€ 2.080,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Sun Mingjing wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2012 die Arbeit Zigong Series: Salt Factory Workers No. 1 mit HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.235,45).
