Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shanghai Street Scene by Sun Mingjing was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 21,250.00 (€ 1,976.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Sun Mingjing have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2012 the work Zigong Series: Salt Factory Workers No. 1 was auctioned for HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,235.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Shanghai Street Scene von Sun Mingjing wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 21.250,00 (€ 1.976,39) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Sun Mingjing konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2012 die Arbeit Zigong Series: Salt Factory Workers No. 1 für HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.235,45) versteigert.
